In March 2021 Feedback Theatre took part in an online residency programme as part of the Monsoonal Multiplicities Exhibition. We responded to the question: “How is London a Monsoonal City?” by bringing our research and performance making methodology to the material exhibited in the exhibition.
Monsoonal Multiplicities presents the work of Monsoon Assemblages, a five-year long research engagement with the monsoon in Bangladesh, India, London and Myanmar. The exhibition offers visitors a virtual experience of the project's methods for investigating weather, climate and more-than-human becomings in urban monsoonal worlds. It is an invitation to follow the stories of entangled beings, energies, infrastructures, life-worlds, matters, technologies and knowledge practices and their encounters with colonial and neocolonial agendas.
