Feedback Theatre invites you to a work in progress showing of Lull, a new show about mothering - the challenges, the joys and the everyday lives in between. It will be messy, loud, make you laugh, want to dance and run away - much like being a mother.
The show has been developed through running creative workshops with mothers and is performed by a single performer with a sonic chorus of mothers - created by weaving together a range of interviews of mothers talking through their reflections, desires and challenges.
It will engage the audience as a supportive group of parents going through similar experiences, while allowing them to experience multiple dimensions of what it means to nurture life in a 21st Century, capitalist city.
We hope it will be beautiful, visually and sonically, and cut through the noise to touch people deeply. Expect tea and biscuits, music and sound, live performance and images, and leaving having learnt something about mothers, mothering and yourselves.
